We are pleased to announce that a holding company, which is funded by investors including Value Quest Partners, has acquired 100% stake in Daishin Kogyo (Head Office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa).
Daishin Kogyo is an electric wire processing company which focuses on producing wire harnesses for industrial uses. Since the establishment in 1969, Daishin Kogyo has been providing its products to wide range of demand industries such as video/sound, telecommunication, medical devices and semiconductor, by polishing its strengths; speediness, skills and flexibility of the wire processing. Management team run by the Ono Family (the founding family) judged that while the wire processing skills which Daishin Kogyo has developed over the years would continue to be its core competitiveness, it would be better for the company to utilize external resources in order to accelerate the growth speed. Mr. Koichi Ono, the Representative Director, stepped down as of today and Tom Noguchi, Representative Director of Value Quest Partners, has succeeded the position.
We will lead the process of establishing Daishin Kogyo’s internal operational rules, which will allow the company to reinforce its competitiveness as an expert group of high-mix low-volume production, and create further values for the society through the products.
