Tom Noguchi is in charge of overall investment activities, including origination, investment/sale decisions and value-up of the portfolio companies.  He is the President of Daishin Kogyo (industrial wire harness processor) and he was the President of Sanyu Chikuro (furnace construction) throughout the investment period.
Prior to co-founding Value Quest Partners, he worked as a buyout fund manager at J-STAR focusing on investments in Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises for five years.  He led the succession deal of Nakai Industrial (vacuum metallizing / wet coating company) throughout the process and also worked on investments in Harita Metal (recycling company) as well as Echigoya (restaurant chain) as Outside Director/ Corporate Auditor.
Previously, he worked as a sell-side analyst for five years (Goldman Sachs / Credit Suisse) and also worked on M&A advisory services for five years (Morgan Stanley (Tokyo, New York) / JPMorgan).
Mr. Noguchi received a B.S. in Finance (Economics/Mathematics minors) from Indiana University, Bloomington
